"Discuss sentence" not working

I click discuss sentence button but nothing happens. Has that happened to anyone before? Is the problem caused by me or duolingo? How do I fix it if possible?

This error has been reported at least a couple times before: https://www.duolingo.com/comment/6106087

At least for me, it seems that whenever it fails once, it breaks for the rest of the session.

Are you using an iPad? This has been happening to me on my iPad since I installed IOS8 - many links don't work on many sites, not just Duolingo. I miss being able to see discussions of sentences that I have trouble with.

Nope. I'm using Google Chrome on PC. Duolingo is the only site I have trouble with at this time. Nothing unusual else than this.

It's been happening to me a great percentage of the time recently. I use Safari on a Macbook.

You might want to move this to troubleshooting where it will get more of the right kind of attention from the right kind of people ;)

Thanks for the heads up, I didn't know there is a troubleshoot category on the discussions page. Just created the same post there.

Same here occasionally. I'm on PC and IE. Apparently there's no discrimination in the devices we use. I put up with it until it works again, but could be a problem for others. As Lrtward said, try troubleshooting or reporting it.

I get the same issue on PC with Firefox. So I really don't know what the cause is. Do you ever switch tabs/windows while doing DL?

I do switch tabs many times actually.

I do, too, and I think it may have something to do with the browser somehow not "engaging" the discussion window again before you close it, if that makes sense. Yesterday I started making sure I clicked within the discussion window and then closed it with the X, rather than just by tapping esc, and so far I haven't had a problem again. It hasn't been very long, though, so it may just be a coincidence.
