"Test out of these skills" button needed
I have a question... I finished the Italian tree about two years ago, but now they have added more lessons, so it looks like I have more work. I did a few lessons today and they were all really easy for me (I'm bilingual). However, when I counted how many lessons I should do (47!) and calculated the time necessary (almost five hours) I am not very happy about it. It is essentially just a typing exercise for me, a waste of time. Usually there are buttons that allow you to test out of certain skills. Could the DL team add these? By the way, I took the Italian progress test a long time ago and got a perfect 5.0/5.0. I don't mind taking another test... go ahead, I'll turn on my webcam; but 47 typing lessons is too much! /:
So, I tested out of one skill, and it took a long time because I was reporting all their mistakes and answering questions for other users. And I finished, but nothing happened. It still shows as if I didn't take the test. Maybe because I refreshed the page and started over? If that is the case, the possibility to take the test should disappear; but it's still there even now. This is so frustrating.
I am not sure I understand this. A skill (like Food, Animals, Plurals, etc) consists of one or more lessons (Lesson 1, Lesson 2 and so on). When you click a skill, if all lessons in the skill have been completed one will see the Strengthen option on the right side. If one or more lessons are yet to be completed i.e. the skill is unfinished, there is an option to Test out on the right side, same place where the strengthen option is normally present. Using this, one can test out of the whole skill (by completing successfully) without having to do the individual lessons.
Remoonline, thank you so much! There are test out buttons that do major shortcuts of many skills, and I forgot about the possibility of testing out of individual skills. Either that or there had been a glitch and they fixed it. Okay, so now I only have to do five tests, not 47 lessons! I'll do it tonight! Thank you. Oh, and btw, I really appreciated the comment you made above, so I gave you a few lingots. :)
