Katts or kattens?

Hello everybody!!! I'm finishing the possessive skills in Swedish and I have a grammar question. I've understood that to say that something is someone's, we have to say the the word which shows the owner in its definitive form plus the "s" ending. For example hunden = the dog hundens = the dog's. But to say the cat's do we have to say katts or kattens? I've seen both in a lesson!!!! Thanks in advance!!! :)
