Translation:Eles produziram energia.
Does anybody else think "Eles têm produzido energia" is a correct answer too? Why wouldn't it be right?
At first glance it does seem to fit, but this construction is not quite what a literal translation would have us believe. Take a look at this discussion http://www.duolingo.com/comment/451217 which was written by another user as a warning to others tackling the "Present Perfect" skill.
Yet Duo still lists "Eles têm produzido energia." as a correct answer... I'll report it again.
