Hello everybody!!!! Here's the 7th lesson of my Greek lessons series. I don't write the words are pronounced because you've already learnt it in Greek Lesson 1.

In this lesson you'll learn the animals.

Here's the vocabulary :

το ζώο = the animal
το κατοικίδιο ζώο = the pet [you can also find it as κατοικίδιο, without the word ζώο behind it)
ο σκύλος = the dog (you may also find it as το σκυλί, in everyday Greek)
η γάτα = the cat (it's a female word, for the masculin cat, you can use the word ο γάτος)
το χρυσόψαρο = the goldfish
το πουλί = the bird
ο παπαγάλος = the parrot
η αγελάδα = the cow
το πρόβατο = the sheep
το γουρούνι = the pig
το άλογο = the horse
η πεταλούδα = the butterfly
η φάλαινα = the whale
το δελφίνι = the dolphin
ο καρχαρίας = the shark
η χελώνα = the turtle
το φίδι = the snake
η καμηλοπάρδαλη = the giraffe
το λιοντάρι = the lion
η ζέβρα = the zebra
ο ελέφαντας = the elephant
η μαϊμού = the monkey
