I wrote "il conducente dice né di sì né di no." and it was marked wrong. I have seen sentences on duolingo using the "dire di" structure, why can't I use it here?
I thought the same, but with an extra non before dice. Can anyone enlighten?
I said "neither" in the translation task for this sentence and was told it was incorrect, that the correct answer was "either".
"Either" would be incorrect with "nor." Did you report it?
I also was marked down for this answer in the original, it is so annoying
I had a multiple choice and got extremely confused due to all the answers ending with the equivalent of "neither no nor yes"! Is this the natural word order in Italian?
