New language tool!
The reason I'm writing this post is to spread word of a language tool I'm developing along with a group of friends. The tool is called Pidgeon and it is aimed at people learning a new language.
I went through the trouble of surveying foreign language students at my school and I asked, "What, in your opinion, is the hardest thing to do in [language the student is studying]?" And majority of the time they responded with, "Verb conjugation."
So, with an idea in mind I got with my group and we built Pidgeon, and I suppose it's time I actually told you what it does. Pidgeon is an index of verbs and their conjugations. It is available for download at http://arinramer.tk/pidgeon
How the program works is relatively simple: you select the language you want (currently supports Spanish and German). You enter the verb you wish to conjugate (In either the language you chose or English), hit the button, and it will print out a chart of the conjugated verb and the pronouns they go with.
If you would like to lend a hand in supporting the project, or you have any feedback email me at email@example.com.
