"agus"

Just out of interest. In Scots Gaelic, agus can be shorted to 's.

for example

agus smaoin mi

's smaoin mi

Both mean "and I thought" in Scots Gaelic.

Yeah, and Irish has "is" - not to be confused with the copula "is"...

On top of the Irish "is" as a shortened form, I have seen quite a bit of "'s" in song lyrics. That may be a more a colloquial than an official change, though.
