Caramell... The Swedish "Vocaloid"? Good for Vocab and Phrases for Noobs!

Okay, so for those of you who aren't familiar with Caramell, she's most famous for the Caramelldansen... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDJLvF1dUek

But I came across this and realized that she has lots of songs that can help us to learn Swedish like little kawaii flickor... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fYiVzb1Pl_0

At least the titles help your with vocab and phrases?... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZzdWXB1frRw

Is it just me or does it seem like the smaller a language's speaking population becomes, the better their music gets...? Dutch music is pretty good with 28,000,000 native speakers, but Swedish music seems to be extremely fantabulous with 9,000,000 speakers. XD

Sweden is known for their public music education. I can't remember the term, but music education is available and encouraged among young people.

Are you maybe referring to "Kommunala musikskolan/kulturskolan" ("The municipal school of music/culture")? There is at least one in most municipalities, sometimes incorporating drama, dance and visual arts as well as music. "Aesthetic work" used to be a required subject in high school as well, but sadly not anymore :/

Lost my train of thought. But here's an article that covers Sweden's disproportionate musical talent pretty well: http://www.theatlantic.com/entertainment/archive/2013/10/why-is-sweden-so-good-at-pop-music/280945/

Er.. Caramell is a group of 4 people, not a vocaloid.

If you want to listen to good dutch music, Bløf is a good dutch band, and maybe Marco Borsato. For english singing dutch artists, I would recommend listening to Di-rect, Anouk or Racoon :)
