I've just written "The table has got four corners." What is the probleme here?

Nothing. It can be reported. Both "have" and "have got" indicate possession. The latter is more common in British English.

Out of curiosity, is "Quatre Coins" the French name for Four Corners (the place in the US)?

Nope, but it is the given translation (https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four_Corners_(%C3%89tats-Unis)). Place names of random sites in other countries don't tend to have French names at all. Most of the states don't even have separate French names.
