Change in translation portion of lesson?

For some reason, when I have "learned" the skill and move onto the translation portion, it will have me translate endless sentences. I hit continue (the finish button doesn't show up) and it just has me do another and another. I just did 8 sentences for one document and got bored with it after it still didn't let me move on. I refreshed and tried again and it did the same thing with another document. It was definitely not like this before; I would translate, finish, and move on. Is everyone experiencing this? Is it supposed to be this way?

It's a Duolingo issue, we're working on a fix for this.

Thanks, Severin; it wasn't completely resolved for me as of a couple of hours ago, but I was able to do most of them.

This is happening to me too now. I wonder if Duolingo are having trouble with some change in the system. It's certainly very off-putting. I think you have to give up that lesson altogether for a while. They don't seem to be fixing it.

I've had the same problem. I think it is a Duolingo issue.

good to know I am not the only one who faced this issue. I was a bit turned off by it but I am planning to get back to my lessons & translations soon.
