I once made the mistake of thinking a skovtur was a walk in the forest and turned up to a picnic wearing all the wrong gear (walking boots, platypus etc.). My Danish friends did think it was funny though.
Is "picnic" the proper translation of "skovtur". A picnic is with food, but a skovtur can be just an outing in the woods, without food.
på EN skovtur? Or is this just danish grammar?
Can skovtur mean a walk or hiking in the woods, or is the word skovtur just used for a picnic???
