I've seen several instances of this, as well as other stilted phrases like "Where are you at?" I'm guessing it's just the dialect of whomever wrote the questions (and I wonder what that dialect is).

"Where are you at?" does actually have a valid Danish translation though -- Hvor er du henne?

It's interesting that Scottish people also pronounce 'cow' as koo'. Viking influence?
