"Do you not consult with your doctor?"
Translation:¿No consultas con tu doctor?
Said formally, couldn't this be: "Usted no consulta con su doctor?" It wasn't accepted.
It looks ok. Did you report it to Duolingo? You should report all errors or alternate correct response to Duolingo, not just on this discussion page. Otherwise, it won't get changed.
I typed "usted" also and got it wrong, i thought usted was the formal "you" and one couldnt make a mistake using it?
April 25,2014. Still not accepted, reporting it. Please continue reporting this mistake
"Tu" with "tú", or "su" with "usted". Either pairing should be acceptable here, although the above comments suggest "Usted/su" was not for some unknown reason. DL may have corrected this by now.
No, it has not been corrected. I just wrote the usted form and it was marked wrong.
I can't see any reason why "Usted no consulta con su doctor" should not be accepted. Keep reporting it.
Only thing I can think of (i did the same as you) is that they assume that it's such a person question (?) that you wouldn't ask it of someone who you would address as "usted"
