French films with subtitles!
Today, my French teacher told me about a link for a film in French called "Entre les Murs" (or "The Class" in English). On the left hand side there is a list of French films you may want to watch :) If you click "voir la bande-annonce" you can watch the trailor first.
This link will take you to the website - it has French subtitles :)
I have les intouchables on dvd, it's sad and funny at the same time. Great film, highly recommend it.
We have just started Education in France and 'Entre les Murs' was a film she said was good, I remember 'watching' it during Year 11, can't remember any of it because it's me, I wasn't paying attention! :P
Haha, we never watched any French films in Year 11. We just watched English films in French xD I haven't watched Entre Les Murs yet as my teacher only mentioned it today. Just thought it was worth sharing :) Not paying attention is my middle name haha, but then when the teacher decides to pick on me and I have no idea what she's talking about, I'm like "uhm....I don't know..." xD
Thanks a lot for the link! Here are some French films I have watched recently:
- Les petits mouchoirs ("Little white lies" in English)
- Deux jours, une nuit ("Two days, one night")
- L'homme qu'on aimait trop ("French Riviera").
I liked them all very much. From the second one I expected maybe a bit more and it was a slight disappointment but definitely worth watching too.
Thanks for sharing! I'll have to watch all these whenever I have some spare time - even if that's in summer when all my exams are over xD
Thanks Tasha, thanks to you I finally watched the movie Bienvenue chez les ch'tis, check it out, it's fun to watch, cheers
I'm looking for something in English with French subtitles or French with English subtitles :/
If you want a laugh, La Chevre is sheer hilarity! It's an old one, with a very young Gerard Depardieu and Pierre Richard. It has a lot of older slang that's fairly amusing as well.
Thanks for the link, it should prove very useful!
Micmacs is a really great french film that I saw at the cinema once. I recommend it!
Merci Beaucoup! And I know it's a cliche/really popular but "welcome to the sticks" (bienvenue a chi...something) is hilarious as well. So is Le Valet...silly, but funny,
