Why does più have to go after è and not at the end?

Anymore is the suggestion for anymore... really?!

"Lui già non è un bambino" not correct? not accurate? not Italian? :)

Or should I have written "Lui non è già un bambino"?

as far as I know, "anymore" can't be translated with "già"

I though "già" meant "already"
