Chopped my tree!
Today I finished my spanish tree, in 22 days!
I started on december 30, and I was addicted from the first day. I have some basic spanish knowledge. I did a beginners course about 20 years ago. That didn't bring me much, until I went to cuba with my four year old daughter visiting her family. Their english was even worse than my spanish. Having to listen and speak spanish for 2 weeks long gave my spanish a boost. Although all my sentences were in the present tense. I think that is by far the best way to learn. I still have a lot of problems with the the verb conjugations. Having to translate to english first, does't make it easier. I improved two languages at the same time :) I will continue practising my spanish by keeping a nice golden tree, read spanish books, and watch some videos. And ofcourse talk to costa ricans this summer! Besides that I will start working on the german tree.
Thank you Duolingo for making languages so much fun!
