short adjectives

The phrase " a good man" show be translated as "un bon homme" and not "un homme bon". The current usage is for short adjectives like bon to be placed in front of the noun. The exercises incorrectly show it placed after the nun.

This is an exception to the rule, because "un bonhomme" exists, meaning 'a guy' or 'a chap'. The question was already asked and responded to several times, you may then want to go and see what Remy wrote on the subject http://duolingo.com/#/comment/53033
