it says i lost my streak... how is that even possible i was on yesterday and i should be starting my day 24 streak today in Portuguese

I've noticed that Duolingo starts the new week at different times, depending on where you live. That may be what happened to you. But you'll keep your new streak going for sure. Best of luck!

Did you reach your coaches goal? It is not just necessary to practice, you have to reach the number of XPs set by your coach. I have my coach set for 1XP so I do not need to worry about that.

yes i have mine set to 1xp although i always exceed my goal everyday
