Reached level 25 today.

Just reached level 25. I have volunteered to tutor Spanish at a local junior high school. Just trying to pay it forward.

wowowoww. I only have 7000 at level 14. I can do duoling spanish for another two years at this rate. Have you taken a test recently?

https://www.duolingo.com/Comanche38

Took a level three college course 60 questions.Had 58 right. Went to Costa Rica for an immersion course and was placed in advanced intermediate. I lived in Central America in the early 70's and passed the US Army Spanish comprehension test. I was comfortable when I left, but had not used it in many years. Got a wild hare to start speaking it again when a friend who also rides motorcycles came to our area. She is a high school Spanish teacher. My brother is also fluent having spoken it for 65 years.

You have to move on to translations and you'll move much faster. A little faster at Tier 1, much faster at Tier 2, incredibly fast at Tier 3, and I imagine super faster at Tier 4.

That's great! Does anyone know how you level up? How often does it happen?

https://www.duolingo.com/Azeezah.

When you practice and do lessons you get XP. You need a certain amount of XP to get to the next level. To see how many more XP you need, go to your profile, and look at your "Achievements" on the right. It should look something like this:

Spanish - Level 5

Next level: 100 XP

Total XP: 500 XP

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. When I go there, I don't see anything but my level medals and streak number.

Same for me!

Thanks for explaining! I went there but it only had my metals and streak number. ????

How do you do it? I've finished my tree, now I'm going back and goldening it up and then I'm gonna maintain it, then I will probably start the backwards tree, but all of that will take YEARS until I reach level 25. How long did it take you and what are your methods?

Poco a poca cada dia. I am retired so I have time.

Congratulations! Do you have an idea of how many hours study it took? I'm at level 22 in German and 14 in Spanish, but it seems unachievable. It took me more than 1.5 years to get there!
