We do not know anything about this unfortunately. The only thing we know is that they are having some problems with EU regulations.

We will probably post something about immersion once we have more information.

ETA = estimated time of arrival (a good guess at a release date, in this case) Immersion is available for most of the more developed languages courses. It is where users upload and translate documents and webpages and if you're good, you can earn excellent amounts of XP for it.

Go to incubator.duolingo.com and at the top, adjust the settings to find what you're looking for. Or you can just scroll through the lists of languages.

The incubator shows language courses being made, language courses produced and currently in beta, and language courses that are fully graduated from beta and in the final version.

Mauro, I noticed there is no Italian course from Portuguese, I have just filed a proposition so start contributing to a new one, my Italian skills are not brilliant, "ma me la cavo" :D. As you speak Italian very well, please submit a proposal to create a new italian-from-portuguese course so we raise the chances of that course being launched.

Ma Ecco!!! How can we do it? can you explain me? Brazil has 40 millions of Italians descendents... we should stimulate this huge community to conect to its background.

I've been trying to find how to access the immersion section of duolingo. When I go to duolingo/translations I just get a 404. I found this thread which suggests immersion doesn't exist for Swedish (which would be the language I'd be interested in practising through immersion). Is this the case or can I access Swedish immersion somewhere?
