why wouldn't "Qual" work here?
O que você quer beber? = what kind of drink/beverage do you want? / qual você quer beber? = which one do you want to drink?
O que quer beber it is wrong??
It is also right when you have a context.
Why can't I move the o que to the end like "Tu queres beber o quê"?
It's just not added as a possible answer, but it is correct
Why not O que quer beber?
Just saw your response. Thanks!
"O que queres beber" in EU-PT
Why was this marked wrong?
Duo catching up on adding EU-PT, I suspect.
"O que você gostaria de beber?" is also correct.
can anyone explain why and/ or when you have to put the 'o' in front of some words like in this sentence ? ? thanks in advance..
to form "what" in Portuguese you have to use two words: what = o que.
"O que é que tu queres para beber?" Esta resposta nao deveria ser aceite?
Also right.
What about: "O que voce gosta de bebir?" DL says it is incorrect
= What do you like to drink?
"O que você quer de beber?" = wrong? :(
