how much duoling do you do in a day?
i do about 1 hour every day.
good for you! im trying to spend at about 30 minutes on exercises everyday, but I hardly ever reach my goal =/
I spend one hour learning Portuguese here and another one hour to practice with my Brazilian teacher. Talking is very important for learning languages. Good luck hermonieg12
wow, 30 minutes?! and you made that much progress? either you do it really fast, or you have been doing it for a looooooonnnnnggggg time.
actually sometimes i spend one week without practicing anything.... but i used Duo to review the language... Unfortunately the languages i took i already know, so it was easier... but when i start German... ok, then it will take me much effort!!
No problem. most of time i'm using my tablet so my spelling is every now and then wrong =/. But there is a button under your comment called "Edit". When I see any mistake I click there to correct it =) well, I can't speak for languages fluently, but I can communicate in 4 languages (5 if I could speak italian faster =/). But i'm older than you (23). once you practice, you'll be able to speak more languages =) Good studies..
english and spanish at a language school. french and italian by myself =) portguese as brazilian ;)
I first studied English 10 years ago and Spanish 8 years ago, and French for about 2 years and italian was the last one....
just got back from hawaii!!!!!!!!!!! no wi-fi at the cabin there, but now i'm home!
2 bad... i really want 2 learn hawaiian, like no kidding. i wonder if anyone will make a course 4 it.
You can find another site. Don't waste your time here waiting to learn Hawaiian. Good luck
But i think im older than you... Im 23 already so i had much more time to kearn than you ;)
about 30 minutes a day. You're brain can only retain so much information. Besides studying, I try to include podcasts during the day. Whether it is driving to or from work or during lunch time. Every little helps.
30 minutes more or less, 20 for portuguese and 10 for english! Not that much but nothing is worst than that. Regards!!
sou de São Paulo. =) mas mesmo assim gosto do sotaque da minha região.
ive got quite a bit of time on my hands lately.. and im travelling to brazil in may... so i spend a few hours a day.. until my brain says quit! i use this in conjunction with pimsleurs for proper pronunciation and it seems to go quickly and smoothly. im moving at almost a level a day.. but it will surely slow down as they pile on new words!
I would love to have the time for one hour daily but this is a hobby and I have to prioritize work and family commitments. Thus, 30 minutes 3 times per week.
I start early and conclude 3 lessons because i practice more. My record's 9 hours.
Now that school started i do like 30 mins, also less. somedays i can't even exercise ;(
I spend about 1 to 6 hours studying. I have a girlfriend that is trying to be a doctor and we sit with drinks we have bought from the store and enjoy a coffee and study from 12:00 till 6:00 almost every day. We also take breaks to walk and break up the stale energy of sitting all day, but it fun. I started about 3 weeks ago and being multi-lingual is a goal of mine!
