You don’t use the definite article after the word nästa, it’s weird, but that’s how it is.
Rather the other way around in that case, nästa will always precede something indefinite.
So it appears that nästa follows the same rule as samma. That is, the following noun always is in the indefinite. the next day = nästa dag and the same day = samma dag Can you provide a few more words that follow this rule and perhaps give a general characterization of the rule? Tack.
