Why does "train" not work here? I said, "Firemen usually train" and it was marked incorrect.
Yes, I was wondering about that too. What would be the appropriate word for "train" here?
Since "work out" is given as a definition of "träna", should it not be accepted as a correct answer?
It is. Firemen usually work out is one of the accepted answers with this expression in it. What did you put exactly?
M.r Arnauti why ..practice... does not work here instead of excercise
I think I put "Firemen usually work out" and the answer came back incorrect, but I could have made a typo or some other mistake.
Glitches in the machinery sometimes happen too, anyway you're right it's a correct answer. :)
why can i not say
firemen often exercise
"Brukar" implies an action done habitually, but not necessarily often.
I'd say tend to is a viable translation of bruka in every sentence I've seen here.
That would be "Brandmän tränar ofta".
to exercise = motionera, to train or practice = träna, a military drill = exercis
