I'm Learning French, Not Spanish!
My Basics 1 was not golden, so I decided to re-gold it. I accidently hovered my mouse over a word, and I noticed that the translation was wrong. The word was "Woman" which in French is "Femme". But it didn't say "Femme" it said "Mujer", which is Spanish for woman. Has anyone else been experiencing this?
Luckily for you, both French and Spanish women are exquisite. ;)
There was a thread like this a day or two ago. I remember the author specifically stated that he'd been having Spanish open in one tab, and whatever the other language was open in another tab when it happened.
Then poor Duo has no excuse, but at least you're well on your way to becoming an accidental polyglot.
Wow...that was two years ago...and now look at you, you've traveled so many language journeys, and a moderator, too! Deliciae, you're such an inspiration! From this side of the world...Alice, from Texas, USA.
Were you accidentally in the Spanish from English course or the English from Spanish course? Of course, I went to those on purpose, but I remember before when I first started taking Dutch from English and I went on my phone and I didn't realize that they did not have it yet for android app yet and I had to start my Basics 1 over like you and I did the whole lesson before I realized I was in the English from Dutch course. If you did the lesson, you should at least get xp for the Spanish course.
