Mumbo-jumbo .

I see now there is an option to deal with " 100% translated " that is non-sense ...Maybe it was always there , but one can offer " edits " even tho' it is " 100% " that's what I do ...dozens of them sometimes , if the non-sense really annoys me . Perhaps that way , if people accept the edits , the common denominator will change the " final " translation .

Exactly ...that is indeed the problem with the system . When reading my ratings by others , which I am about to give up on as a waste of time , I see so much that is actually WRONG , not just a different interpretation . Duolingo must deal with this as their clients ( who want things translated ) will not tolerate the final product unless this problem is sorted out .

I know. I don't bother reading ratings etc. Right now, it doesn't look like the system works. It was a nice initial training working through the skill tree. But once you do, why waste your time hunting for some scrap of an article to translate? So I don't get it.

O.K. 24 hours later and that didn't work don't waste your time , obviously once non-sense is elected , that is it ! Too bad !

Who would have thought the problem would be that people don't know the English language.
