I'm still not sure about det finns or det är. When do we use?
Try searching for 'Det finns det äre' in the 'Discussion stream'. There are a lot of discussions with exactly that question. Maybe you can figure it out on yourself. Sorry that I can't give you better advice but I am struggling with it, too. ;-)
"Det finns" is that it exists like here and "Det är" is that "It is"
