I find Duolingo very useful and want to improve my Spanish. I have a very busy work schedule so I have very little time. Does anyone have any ideas on the most effective way of learning Spanish quickly.
Hi Treecie, I completely agree with you. The streak measure is a good incentive and I was frustrated that my previous one ended when was on a break in England. I do need to get more speaking practice but this is improving my overall level! It is fun to have competition on here!!
The more time you make for it the faster you will learn. Flashcards are great, like the program Anki, and you should try to listen to Spanish, whether that is Spanish radio in the car, a telenovela in the background while doing chores, or watching a movie. Eventually you would want to read books and speak to people, but it depends on what you want. Fluency will require more effort and time, and what's best for learning just how to read/write isn't necessarily the same as conversational Spanish.
learning a language consists of learning the lyrics and learning the music.
DuoLingo will provide the lyrics, the words and the constructions.
