Professions. What do you do? / What would you like to do? (Practiquemos el Inglés)
Share with me what's your profession or what would you like to do. :)
This time I want to share with you what I do to live, in other words, my profession. Since two years ago I'm a Psychologist , I studied at the "Universidad de Guadalajara", this university is located at in my own town, so I didn't need to travel to study, I really don't know why I decided to study this career, maybe because of my curiosity about the mind and how the brain works, but I really didn't give the necessary importance to this decision, by that time I was young and I didn't know what to do with my life, fortunately I took the right decision, and with the time I fell deeply in love with Psychology and I made a lot of friends. Today I'm working with a colleague in an independent project called "Genera Alternativas" a place that will offer psychotherapy, educational and community services. :)
In a respectful way any kind of corrections and observations are welcome. :)
Are you Psychologist? What a concidence. I'm studying Psychologist, I'll graduate in 2 years. (I'm in ninth semester, but I haven't started thesis yet :c) Do you have an psychological approach?
I'm studying PSYCHOLOGY I'm in THE ninth semester I haven't started A thesis yet A psychological approach
I wish I were as comfortable in Spanish as you are in English :).
Thanks for your corrections, I make silly mistakes and I'm ashamed by it. Generally, I haven't confidence in myself. But I understand that I should to practice if I want to have a good command of the language. Yours corrections and comments help me to be better. :) If you want, we can to write in Spanish. I want help you If I can do it. The practice is the key ^^ Bye~
Don't be ashamed. It took me a while to have the confidence to type in Spanish. I'm still nervous about speaking it. Most of the teachers I work with speak Spanish fluently, so I am too embarrassed to speak with them.
Yes, I understand. It takes time to have confidence in oneself and speak in a foreign language. But all effort has its reward. Good Luck!! :)
What a coincidence Sharyst! :D Where are you from? At the clinical area I'm following the Sistemic approach (My first love <3), besides that I took Neoropsicology and Social Psicology (My second love <3 :P), and you? What approach will you take?
I'm from Colombia :)
I study in the Universidad Surcolombiana. Unfortunately, I haven't any approach yet., I can't decide!! D:
But, I want to make my practices in the Hospital. One time, I visited the Hospital and I heard the Psychologist. He said things very horrible, but he helped to many people. There is much work, but there aren't many people who want to do. So, I think that I want to try to work in this place, because nobody realizes how important is.
I hope that, with the time, I can decide that I want to do in my life and my future :3 But, now. I'm in limbo jajajaj XD
(I'm sorry if I make the same mistakes, I have bad memory, but I'll work that. jajaja)
Don't sorry nevermore! jajaja We are learning. :D Sounds pretty good the work that you want to do, I love it, maybe Community Psychology will interest you. :D There is a lot of work for us here in Latin America, a lot of things to transform. :)
Thanks :3 Yes, There's a lot work for us in Latin America. Especially, I want to help my country a to be better. :)
I'm a Latin teacher in the U.S. I came to Duolingo to learn Portuguese, but decided to take a break and start Spanish. If all of you don't mind, I'll correct your English (it's better than my Spanish).
When did you star to learn English with duolingo? Do you think this page is useful? I've recently decided to start a course here. How often do you practice?
Hi ValeSeq, I stared around six months ago, but I have been studying English before, so I already had some knowledge, I find Duolingo very useful, I think this is one of the best methods I've ever use, a couple of weeks ago I finished the tree of exercises which I did day by day. Now I'm trying something new, making this kind of discussions and meeting new people. :)
It´s the way to learn more between us. Anyway, we try to keep this conversation. Thanks for your writing.
I work as a maintenance person in a complex and I love it. There I have the opportunity to learn lot of things and practice my English,
I am not sure how is called but I think is a condominium, actually I works in some condominiums by the beach.
"I WOULD like TO practice SPEAKING English with you."
Despite those errors, a native English speaker would totally understand you.
