Could someone answer this question please? I found a couple of other words that translate "greet." Saudar and Acolher. Would either of these work in this situation?

Receber: to receive a person like a host or a receptionist would do. Saudar: to salute, to say Hello, even when only passing by. Acolher: to receive and greet and give shelter or engage a conversation. April 2015
