My biggest struggle since the very first time I started learning Irish is pronunciation (and spelling but I'm starting to get used to that one). I even stopped Duo course for a while to figure it out before going into more complex stuff. Because I figured it would be the best to have some solid basis. But now I'm still struggling with it. I was looking for some memrise course but there is none on that matter .

So here comes my question - was any of you having the same struggle as me and if so - how did you overcome it? I would be very grateful for advising. Maybe you know about a site with transparent explanation, or some video with pronunciation.

I'm getting very frustrated over this matter right now and I would be very thankful for help.

The Wikipedia page on Irish Orthography is pretty decent (especially if you can understand IPA). Since not all sentences in our course have audio, I recommend Forvo and Breis.Focloir.ie for some extra audio recordings. Like any language, the pronunciation will come in time. Hopefully these links will help...they are just a handful I had to hand :) If you'd like some extra help, I'd be happy to give you a hand.

I'm sure they'll be helpful. I can understand IPA so there's no problem. Actually, it never occurred to me that I can look on wikipedia - apparently, the obvious answers are the missing ones. If I'll still have troubles after checking those, I'll surely ask you for help. Thank you. :)

google "Irish pronunciation" and you'll find a number of sites that will help, some of them with audio.
