As is the tradition: He completado mi árbol de Español!
People seem to post about their specific methods, so I guess I'll do that!
I first started in July, did it for about three or four weeks, quit for a few months, and then picked it back up in November. Total it took me about 3.5 months.
I always kept my tree golden: I would not continue with lessons until I had re-gilded it in its entirety (that's probably why it took so long.)
I also used Memrise, especially for article/conjugation drills.
I still struggle with comprehension, especially when spoken really swiftly. I watched all of Extr@ (TWICE, haha), Mi Vida Loca, and Destinos, and have gotten pretty into La Reigna del Sur, so I'm hoping to improve.
Other than that, I need to work on my confidence manipulating what I now know so I can get out there and use it!
It's been really great, and if anyone has any suggestions for cool TV shows or movies to watch in Spanish I'm all ears.
And thanks to everyone who helped me along the way!
¡Muchas Felicidades! Primero por terminar el árbol, y segundo por mantenerlo dorado. Sé que requiere mucho tiempo de repaso para lograr esto. If you are a beginner in Spanish, perhaps you can watch the Disney movies with or without subtitles. Best wishes!
