Haft is the supine form of "att ha." Hade is the past form. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swedish_grammar#Supine_form

How come "Vad skulle du ha haft i din väska" does not work?

Swedish tends to use the definite construction a lot in cases where a construction with a possessive pronoun is preferred in English. Therefore, translating väskan into 'your bag' makes a lot of sense, but translating 'the bag' into din väska doesn't.
