Can you add the ability to join the discussion on the ipad app?

On my child's kindle I can discuss a sentence or read what others have to say about a certain phrase, but not on my ipad. Is there a reason for this? It leaves out an important part of the learning process for me.

Also, how do I reset the app to not having any goal selected? I tried uninstalling it several times but apparently there are hidden residual files because when I reinstall the original setups still show. That's just a preference I have.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I used to be able to do that on my Android tablet but ....no more .... what happened ? I've got no idea myself but I'd love to know the answer.

I sometimes use my little one's kindle just because I prefer that feature. Now I'm going to check her Kindle because I know they use android-type apps. Is this a recent change?

I'm sorry to tell you this , but yes, fairly recent ... if you get the option to update the app it might be worth hanging on to the old version ..... I can't get that back now !

Aw, I can't locate the Kindle to test that atm but If it hasn't updated on its own I sure won't update. I hope someone sees this post and changes it back as well as adding it on the Ipad. Thanks for the reply :).

Btw I finally checked recently and discussions are still available on the Kindle. Then again there might have been a couple of android updates since I asked this.

No luck with the ipad though.

I tried to reply below but it wouldn't let me, so I'm doing it here. I'm glad your Kindle has still got discussions but still no joy on Android, Hey ho! We live in hope :-)
