Duolingo is the most popular way to learn languages in the world. Best of all, it's 100% free!

What a great way to learn languages!

When I was a young girl at school, I hated the way that languages were taught and always found it a struggle to keep up with everyone else. As a middle aged woman now, I really wanted to try again and have found this course (Dutch : Netherlands) really fun and easy to follow. I can go at my own pace and other people have been so kind and helpful here. I'm looking forward to learning so much more but have had to restrict my practice times because I'd be at it all day if I could! I'm constantly delighted that I stumbled across this app, it really has changed the way I learn for the better. Thank you!

I agree, it's a great app and I think the thing that sets it a part from other language learning software is the community discussions!

Yes, DuoLingo is very helpful and the community very kind. I don't know where my Spanish would be without this site..

I totally agree with your comment! I wish there had been something like Duolingo available when I was in school to supplement what I learned in class and remind me of little rules I might have missed/ignored repeatedly.
