Now it's time to really understand all the grammar and to conquer a reverse tree! :) I'm very excited nevertheless. Thank you duolingo for your amazing resources!

I think so Llouiee. I love the social aspect of learning the language and being excited for others to be passionate about learning foreign languages. I tried Rosetta stone in the past and couldn't stick to it because I didn't feel motivated enough. For me it has been the most important aspect. I think to truly learn the language though, duolingo is just a step- you have to immerse yourself in it which I've been trying to do via other websites/tv/books/sometimes funny attempts to converse with spanish speaking patients I encounter at work :)

Thanks! :) I've used http://www.spanishdict.com/grammar in the past but not lately. I bought advanced spanish grammar book on amazon that is solely in spanish and it's pretty difficult but enjoyable all at the same time :)

Wow, you already finished the tree at level 12? Geez, that's crazy! I'm getting close to level 11 and still have quite a bit of tree left. Congrats!

I tested out of some parts I've learned already through other methods, that's probably why. I think the important part is to keep pressing on and enjoying the process, no matter where you are :)

By "Reverse Tree" do you mean starting at the end and working your way to the beginning?

https://www.duolingo.com/CindyFowler

No reverse tree is changing your native language to Spanish and learning English. I'm trying it now! Kinda cool...

What's the reverse tree? I got to the end and turned everything gold. Is there something else to do now? Thanks

The reverse tree is learning English as a Spanish speaker and as the OP says you will learn a LOT of grammar that you did not learn previously, mostly because you will answer more questions in Spanish. It really works great!

Very cool, I want to try! So how do I do this? Do I change my native language to Spanish and choose English to study?

Yes, you won't see your Spanish tree and level anymore but when you switch back it will all be there just as you left it.
