All words that end with «i» get stressed on the last syllable. Since «deixarei» ends with «i» (just like «aqui»), it (they both are) is stressed on the last syllable: «rei» («qui»).
Why is the stress not on the last "e", but on the "a" ?
It sounds too robotic in my opinion. Don't take her pronunciation of "deixarei" mislead you! =)
Exactly! Robotic is the best definition for it
It seems like the stress is on the last "e", at least, as far as I can hear it.
