Spanish tree

Does anyone know the amount of words that are in the new Spanish tree? I know I lost 200 words and I find the new tree a bit easier, as I am just repeating things I already had studied. the Present tense verbs have been cut in half and the verbs are the most important things to know. I do not get the reason to subtract words that we have learned and studied, all for naught. Just me!

They changed the way words were counted, I believe, and didn't actually remove any words. The new total is 1571.

I think they did. My present tense1 went from about 45 to 19. I also think the words are counted the same, but no one from DL will answer the simple question.

Some words might have also been moved around the tree. I'm not sure, honestly. I'm just parroting the announcement post. Maybe send them an email or tweet directly if it's bothering you.

Hey thanks! I appreciate your reply. I never saw the announcement post. I was away for six weeks. I guess it does not matter too much about the word count, as I wrote all the words down and also I found some one on quizlet that I believe has the old set of verbs. I need to just concentrate on the new tree and continue the study, right? I have so many new lessons to complete now because of the new tree and my absence. Gracias!
