You need Memrise! Memrise is the only way I was able to learn verbs. I only do the present, past simple, imperfect, future, and conditional, none of the subjunctive forms.

Jump into some of these grammar guides people are offering. It might feel very overwhelming. That is ok. You don't have to understand it all immediately. Continued exposure is important though. So, don't give up. Read the grammar guides, practice the lessons. Learning a language is a lifelong journey, so, you will continue to encounter these things as you go. Don't get discouraged! :)

Try writing a story in one tense at a time. So if you are having trouble with the past tense write a story in the past tense. If you are having trouble with the future tense then try writing one in the future tense.

I did this for my 6-months on Duolingo post! I wrote a short paragraph using different past tenses. It was hard to do... harder than anticipated at least. Next time I try it, I think I will stick with just one tense like you suggested!

Are you having trouble understanding what "past", "present", "future", and "imperfect" mean?

Here is a web page explaining each of some tenses: http://www.esfacil.eu/en/verbs/5-modes-and-tenses-in-spanish.html

Or are you having trouble saying the verbs correctly (that is, forming the endings correctly) in Spanish?

Here is a web page showing how to form the endings for tenses. Each one is broken into six examples [I, you(sing), he, we, you(pl), they], which is a common way of presenting endings: http://www.studyspanish.com/verbs/lessons/pireg.htm
