What's the difference between "Jag jobbar" and "Jag arbetar"?
None, except that jobba is perhaps a bit more colloquial.
Sounds a bit like the German "arbeiten" ^.^
"arbetar" kind of sounds like the russian "работать" with the letters switched around
what is the diffrence between 'i work' and ' i am working'. Does swedish language also have present simple and present countiniues
No, I don't think so.
Depending on the context you could say Jag står och arbetar or Jag sitter och arbetar, but in general Jag arbetar works for both unless you need to clarify.
Bad tts on "arbetar". The stress is usually on the first syllable in this word, not on the second (where it is if you use box words here).
