Program hangs just as I have completed a practice exercise. The occurs intermittently in the German lessons. My daughter tried it today and had the same experience. You must "quit" and lose your progress. It happens just after you have checked a correct answer that completes the practice session for you. Any suggestions?
It could be issues at Duolingo end where the servers are not able to handle peak traffic. I have faced this a few times. But usually, after a refresh the application seems to hold good. But you can do a few things to discount the issue is at your end.
- Ensure you have a steady internet connection. Network connectivity issues may result in the application not behaving as expected.
- You can try clearing browser cache and cookies.
- You can try a different browser.
- You can try in a different computer.
