How to switch between courses?

I speak German and want to speak a better English. But now I'd like to try translations into English too. In "Immersion" I only see translations from English into German. So I thought, I have to go to "einen neuen Kurs hinzufügen". I did that. But now I have only from English into German. Has somebody found a possibility to switch? Or do I have to go to "new course" always? Thanks in advance for helpful tips ...

If you have not already heard of it, there is a way to speed up the switching. If you use either of the browsers Firefox or Chrome then there is a userscript (a script a user can run on their own computer).

Both of those browsers can use an add-on for scripting, for Firefox this is called Greasemonkey, for Chrome this is called Tampermonkey. (In general these are easy to install from within the browser, but if not an internet search should provide more information.)

The userscript is called "Language Course Switcher" or "Language Course Switcher (Improved)", and is listed at the unofficial Duolingo wiki userscript page.

The original forum posts from the authors of these scripts are here and here.

PS: I should add: I haven't tried or verified these userscripts myself. From what I understand, the first time you still have to go to "Neuen Kurs hinzufügen" in the drop-down menu at the top of the screen, but I understand it is quicker - because after the first switch between two languages you no longer have to go to another page first, instead just the drop-down menu is sufficient.

Edit: The Language Course Switcher (Improved) also states that the browsers Chromium and Safari can be used.
