Accessibility: Listening Exercises

In the android app version, I can disable Listening exercises independently of other settings. I am not able to do this in the browser version. The only way I can achieve this is to disable the speaker in the settings, but this has the unwanted consequences of disabling sound effects and the Voice auto-play.

It would be more useful for me because I am learning German specifically for translating written materials. The listening exercises are unnecessary and counterproductive for my goals.

Is this intentional? Is there a plan to return this function to the browser version?

What is wrong with using the app version?

I'm primarily using the app because of this, but the browser has features that aren't available in the app. The one I miss most is the Tips & Notes section where they explain key concepts, but it's not the only one.

Not everyone uses/has access to the app version (and there are a lot of features that are not available in the app version, anyway).
