Tips for remembering verbs

I'm learning Spanish to be able to speak with my in-laws and while I'm learning a lot I get caught up in them. I feel like I'm guessing half the time. Like leo, leen, lees, leemos, etc. As well as the soy, son, somos, eres, and such. Does this just get easier with practice or are there any secrets to help with remembering these? Thanks in advance.

I would also suggest that you practice basic conversations in your head often. Reading children's books daily has been beneficial.
