Bible studies... (english and portuguese)
Hi guys! I would like to create a group to study the Bible and improve his language skills. I'm Brazilian... so... I could help you to learn portuguese and change experiences.
I will use the site http://www.gotquestions.org/ as the main source of content. But we can change quotations, sentences... and of course: to talk!
So... if you want... great! Let me know on comments.
Gustavo Brazilian, learning english
I found a bible online which there are many languages and you can also listen to it... Take a look: www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Genesis+1 & version=NVI-PT;NIV
OBS: se tirar os espaços dos lados do "&" você vai ver a comparação com o português. I put it separated because the Duolingo does not allow me to leave it along.
I hope it can help in your studies.
Tamar.Judson! I checked this website... The best thing: the NLT (News Living Translation) is avaiable! Great! Give a lingot! hehe
Hi Gustavo I'm learning Portuguese and would love to head to Brazil one day!! I'm a committed Christian and would be happy to share some Bible with you - I already can speak Spanish but use the Portuguese Online Bible sometimes. I love the reader's accent!!
Great, my brother! I confess that I would prefer learn english as the early church on Day of Pentecost... but I'm so glad to have brothers around the world to talk with. So... Do you have whatsapp? I think that is the easiest way to go ahead with our group.
In Christ, Gustavo
Hi Gustavo Great to hear from you - I'm learning Portuguese as I'd like to be able to help out with our church orphanage in Mozambique - maybe later this year and yeah we can communicate on WhatsApp - but at the moment my mobile phone is being repaired so I'll be able to contact you next week!! Actually the idea of a Portuguese / English Christian group sounds fabulous!!
Many blessing in Jesus!!, Andy
About the orphanage... amazing. Unfortunately the Church (us) is forgetting how to be salt... how to be light... and this actions reinforce the God's love for us. And... I understand that this kind of "virtual relationship" help us to be one... which is necessary to world believe in Christ, right?
Oh... I'll wait for your contact!
He Andy, I live in Moz, where is your church's orphanage? Moz is a huge country! Keep on studying and let me know when you will be around!
