"They help the man"

Translation:De hjälper mannen

Why hjälper and not hjälp?

Hjälp is the imperative form of att hjälpa. In present tense, it's always hjälper, no matter the person.

I admit that it can seem a bit confusing from the English sentence, since English uses the same word form for imperative, infinitive, and present tense (except in third person singular).
