So am I, it gets easier as you go, I promise. Just stick with it and keep going over the same things until you're confident with them, learning a language is a big task, don't expect too much straight away and keep at it and you'll be just fine :)

I really love learning other languages. I am Australian, French, Scottish, Spanish, Irish, Italian and British. I really want to learn my background languages, it would be really fun!

Stick with it and it'll come. :)

I don't think Irish is actually a difficult language. It's just very alien for a native English speaker. Just keep studying at your own pace and gradually things start to make more sense.

Some of the words are hard to say

Listening to Raidió na Gaeltachta was a really big help to me. Even if you start out not understanding most of the words it still helps you figure out what the words are meant to sound like.

Beyond that it's just practice, practice, practice. :)

I use this aswell as duolingo it has alot of more conversational irish. Its in the Ulster dialect so you'll notice some slight differences but nothing much https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=now+you%27re+talking+irish
