Stuck

Hello: I can't get past a point in second to last lesson in Dutch. The problem is a question about the Wadden Islands. The 3 possible answers are very long and I can't press "Skip" or "Check answer" either. Very frustrating so now I can not finish the lesson. Any suggestions? Also once I reach the end of the lessons is there a more advanced section that opens or is this just the end?

I don't know why you are unable to get past that point in your Dutch lesson. Have you tried closing and opening Duolingo again? and/or your browser? you'll lose the points you've earned, but unless you can either click "Skip" or "Check answer", you're not going to get them anyway.

As for reaching the end of the lessons, there are 25 levels in Duolingo, so you can definitely continue, by regilding your skills and doing Immersion.

What is immersion?

Immersion is the section of Duolingo where you can try your hand at translating from the target language into the language you said you speak. (That's an awkward way of phrasing it, but some people also do the reverse tree -- e.g., if they did English to French, then they would say they spoke French, and that would give them the French to English tree). Anyway, here's so more information: http://duolingo.wikia.co/wiki/Community_and_discussions_guide

Here is the question I can not get past: The airplanes do not fly across Schiermonnikoog, but they do fly across the other wadden islands. I tried with Chrome, Safari. After reboot. No luck. Second to last section.

NL 1 5/7 Can't go futher. Can't skip question. Can't answer question. The airplanes do not fly across Schiermonnikoog, but they do fly across the other wadden islands. This is as far as I can go!

You have a far better chance to have an answer, if you move your post to one of the Dutch topics (the contributors of the Dutch courses answer within some days imo).
I think the appropriate discussion topic is Dutch (English).
