Find the pairs
I was just using the iOS app when I was presented with this
I haven't seen anyone bring this up before, so I thought I'd ask your opinions. Are these kind of exercises useful and should they be implemented to the web version as well?
I just opened the iOS app and was presented with a lesson type I'd never seen before as well! Between this and the other thread about the updated French tree, it seems like some major updates are coming. Exciting!
Thanks for the post, scarcerer. I just tried a review on my iPad and I've got the new challenge type too. I like these a lot, quick and painless, and very much a throwback to the "gamification" spirit that we've lost a little with the removal of the hearts, etc. Cool stuff!
I actually have seen a very similar thing on my IOS and I believe it has been there for a long time. It is just that it is not yet in the PC / Mac version, and I do agree should be added.
I think that these exercises can be quite useful, and if it turns out that they can not be implemented in the web version, I'd like to see the DuoLingo app made desktop friendly.
A memory game type lesson only found on the mobile app. You flip over the cards, and try to find words in one language that match words in the other.
